Global Connection and Belonging

Connection and belonging are essential parts of our culture.

Our connection and belonging strategy reflects the foundation set by Joseph Wilson, the first Chief Executive Officer of modern-day Xerox. Thanks to his vision, social responsibility, connection and belonging became a part of our value system and helped forge who we are today – a workplace where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.

Today, our workforce brings a range of backgrounds and perspectives from across the globe, providing different ways of looking at our business and leading to innovative breakthroughs for our clients and more engaging work for our people.

And we continue to learn and adapt every day. We build and sustain a global workforce and supply base that represents and connects with the people and community partners we serve. As the world changes, we continue to evolve to turn today's challenges into opportunities, incorporating new elements within our connection and belonging work culture, including employee listening sessions that educate, inform and cultivate belonging.

Connection and Belonging: Strategy in Action

We promote understanding and unity through a comprehensive set of initiatives and strategies. For example:

Gender Pay Gap Report for 2023

UK legislation* requires employers to disclose the percentage difference between the average hourly earnings of men and women. The rules apply to organisations with 250 or more employees. Although there is a delicate balance between equity and inclusivity, we are continuing to strive for parity. In this report, we reflect on 2023 results and the steps we are taking to close the gender pay gap in the U.K.
